Comments | セカイモンで入手した。タイトルは 2 Vaseline Glass Tumblers - Nice Pattern とされ、ハイボールグラスとされている。このパターンはパターンの本には記載されておらず、３つの異なるパターンがある。下部には小さなダイヤモンドパターンがあり、中央には絡み合ったハートのように見えるループがあり、上部には葉のようなパターンがある。上の２つのパターンの間には点描があると説明されている。 This pair of tumblers are rather heavy glass and are a hefty size. I guess maybe highball glasses? I can not find this pattern in my pattern glass books, but it is an interesting one. It has 3 different patterns. At the bottom is a tiny diamond pattern. The middle has loops that look like upside down intertwined hearts and at the top area is a leafy like pattern. The glass is stippled in between the top two patterns. I wish I had better photos, but hopefully you will see better than I can explain. As I said, these glasses are no lightweights. The glass is heavy. They are canary yellow vaseline and they glow vividly under the black light.. They stand 4 1/4" tall and measure a little over 3 3/8" across the top. ガラスも厚く重量感がある大きめのタンブラー。手に取った感触から複製品ではなく、オリジナルの型ガラス。この３層構造のパターンは米国の EAPG（Early American Pattern Glass）には見られない。底には放射状のパターン が見られる。 このパターンは既に入手している クレソット フット タンブラー Cresot Footed Tumbler に似ており、ヨーロッパ（フランス？）で19世紀に生産された可能性が高い。ただ、見たところは使用感がなくほぼ新品でガラスが新しい感じがする。 |
